A square lights up and a letter is spoken every few seconds.
2. Match N back
Press “Same place” or “Same sound” when it matches the one N turns earlier.
3. Level up
80% or more suggests the next N. Short daily blocks work best.

What is Dual N-Back?
You see a square on a grid and hear a letter at the same time. Press a button when either one matches what came N steps earlier. It is a demanding working-memory and attention exercise.
Is Brain Gym free?
Yes. Single Back and classic Dual N-Back at N = 1 to 4 with a 3-second pace are free with no sign-up. Your history stays on your device, or in your account if you sign in.
What does Brain Gym Pro include?
All modes (Tri, Quad, Pentuple, Combination, Arithmetic), N up to 9, variable and crab back, adjustable pace and lures, neuro-priming sound, lifetime analytics and CSV or printable reports. It is a separate monthly plan from Brainwaves Studio Pro.
Will it raise my IQ or treat ADHD?
No claim is made that it raises IQ, cures or treats any condition. It is a training exercise for working memory and attention that supports the Cognitive Regulation approach — practising control of your mind.
How does the level change?
Score 80% or more and the next level is suggested. Three blocks in a row below 50% suggests stepping down. Otherwise you stay at the same N.
