Terms of Service

1. What this service is

CheckMentalHealth.in provides (a) a free 24×7 AI Psychologist, screeners, and self-help tools; (b) paid online video sessions with Dr. Nitnem Singh Sodhi (RCI-registered clinical practitioner); and (c) educational courses and mental-health content. It is operated by Bharat Neurotech as Dr. Sodhi's private-practice platform, independent of Apollo Hospitals Group.

2. Not a medical emergency service

If you are in immediate danger or thinking about self-harm, call Tele-MANAS 14416 (free, 24×7) or 112 for emergency services. Our AI is a supportive first-aid layer, not an ambulance or crisis line.

3. Clinical scope & disclaimer

• The AI Psychologist provides screening, psycho-education, and CBT/DBT/ACT-style guidance. It does not diagnose, prescribe medication, or replace medical care.
• Paid live sessions with Dr. Sodhi are psychotherapy consultations — not psychiatric medication management or emergency care.
• Content is provided "as is" without warranty of clinical outcome.

4. Eligibility & accounts

• You must be 18+ or use the service with a parent/guardian.
• You are responsible for keeping your account credentials safe.
• You agree not to share your account, use it for another person, or impersonate anyone.

5. Payments

All payments (bookings, Elite Pass, premium reports, courses, tips) are processed by Razorpay. Prices are shown in INR and displayed before you pay. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

6. Acceptable use

• Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the service.
• Do not upload unlawful, hateful, or content that infringes third-party rights.
• Do not attempt to use the AI to obtain medical/legal/financial advice you would then rely on without professional review.
• We may rate-limit, suspend, or terminate access for abuse or safety concerns.

7. Intellectual property

Site content, brand, clinical protocols, and NeuroCortex + EQCortex model outputs are the property of Bharat Neurotech / Dr. Nitnem Singh Sodhi. You may quote short passages with attribution and a link back (see our AI Crawler Policy). Your own submissions remain yours; you grant us a limited licence to store and process them to deliver the service.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction.

10. Changes

We may update these terms; the "Last updated" date above will change and continued use constitutes acceptance.
