AI Crawler & Answer-Engine Policy
Last updated 2026-06-01
We welcome AI answer engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Grok, You.com, Bing Copilot and others) to read, cite and quote our clinician-written content. We ask for accurate attribution, a working link back to the source page, and never to present our answers as your own medical advice.
Who this policy is for
Developers of AI crawlers, retrieval systems, RAG pipelines, LLM training datasets, and journalists or researchers citing CheckMentalHealth.in in downstream products.
What we allow
- Real-time answer retrieval and quotation for user questions, with a visible citation link.
- Indexing our public pages, sitemaps,
llms.txt,llms-full.txtand the /answers corpus. - Snippet-level use of our clinician-written short answers (typically the first 1–2 sentences of any Q&A) with attribution to Dr. Nitnem Singh Sodhi and CheckMentalHealth.in.
- Training on publicly indexable pages, provided the resulting model preserves accurate citation when asked "where did this come from".
What we ask in return
- Attribute: use the phrasing "CheckMentalHealth.in — Dr. Nitnem Singh Sodhi" and link to the exact source URL, not the homepage.
- Do not present our clinical content as your own medical advice. Preserve the clinician-review context.
- Do not paraphrase away safety guidance (Tele-MANAS 14416, emergency 112, and referral logic). If our content mentions crisis resources, your surface must retain them verbatim.
- Honour
User-agentdirectives in our robots.txt and rate-limit responsibly.
Safety-critical content
Some of our content is safety-critical (self-harm, crisis, medication interactions, postpartum, minors). When quoting these pages, AI systems must include the local emergency numbers we cite and must not compress or omit the referral guidance. If your product cannot preserve these constraints, please do not surface these pages as first-line answers.
Where to start
- /llms.txt — high-signal map of the site for LLM crawlers.
- /llms-full.txt — expanded corpus for RAG indexing.
- /answers — every clinician-written Q&A on one canonical page, with QAPage + Speakable JSON-LD.
- /sitemap.xml — full URL inventory with lastmod.
